[3] Married to Maria da Fonseca, also a New Christian from Vouzela, with family links to Miguel da Silveira [?-1638] from Celorico da Beira. Famous in Jurisprudence, Philosophy and Mathematics. He was the father of Tomas de Pinheiro de Trancoso [1614--1679], a philosopher. Both were persecuted by the Inquisition Courts.
